Hi! I'm Jamie, a painter and mixed media artist living and working in Austin, Texas. I work primarily in acrylic and oil, sometimes incorporating natural dyeing and collage techniques. My body of work represents modern landscapes and life outside, often reflecting a vignette or a moment in time. I am passionate about awareness and preservation of public lands. One thing I aim for in my work is to highlight the connection between people and the natural environment. I want to know not just how a landscape looked, but the way it makes you feel. My hope is that my work helps to promote our shared spaces, and better connect us to each other and to the environment.
